"Switch It Up" — HPE Networking Competitive Switch Trade-In
Your current switches are a liability. Replace legacy competitor hardware with HPE Juniper Networking EX Switches and collect a rebate while you modernize — up to $1,500 USD per switch, 1:1 trade-in.
What the "Switch It Up" Program Offers
Many enterprise networks run on aging switches that weren't designed for today's traffic profiles. HPE Networking's competitive trade-in program removes the financial hurdle of modernizing your switching layer — making the business case straightforward.
For a limited time, organizations that purchase new HPE Juniper Networking EX Switches to replace select competitor switches are eligible to receive a cash rebate — paid in USD or equivalent local currency — for every switch traded in on a 1:1 basis.
- Up to $1,500 USD rebate per eligible switch
- 1:1 trade-in ratio — one old switch, one new switch
- Choose self-decommission or HPE's secure recycling program
- Rebates paid in USD or equivalent local currency
- All devices must be returned within 180 days of application approval
Program overview: apply before purchase, then submit your claim after delivery.

Application visibility and control, colorless port controls, MACSec, and TLS 1.3 are delivered directly on the switch — no additional appliances required to build a zero-trust architecture.
How the Trade-In Process Works
The program runs in two phases. Before purchase, we apply on your behalf. After delivery, we convert the application to a claim and arrange pickup — you simply provide a few details and take delivery of your new switches.
Phase 1 — Apply to Participate (Before Purchase)
Create an Initial Quote
We will create a quote specifying the new HPE EX products and the corresponding trade-in (used) products you'd like to return.
Submit Application
We submit your application through the HPE trade-in portal — all we need from you are the device names and serial numbers of the switches you're replacing.
Receive HPE Approval
HPE confirms eligibility and the final trade-in allowance. Note: an approved quote number is required. Submissions without one will be rejected.
Purchase & Take Delivery
Complete your purchase and take delivery of the new HPE EX switches. Discounting levels may exclude Trade-In rebates — confirm with your specialist.
Phase 2 — Submit the Claim (After Delivery)
Convert to a Claim
Once your switches arrive, we convert the application into a claim using your invoice details and the serial and product numbers, then note the return product dimensions and weights for collection scheduling.
Schedule Pickup & Return
Provide pickup address and any special instructions. Choose self-decommission or HPE's secure global recycling program. All devices must be returned within 180 days of approval.
Receive Your Rebate
After HPE receives and validates the returned equipment, they issue the rebate via bank transfer. Public sector customers receive credit rebates through their resellers.
